Shelters
The mountain is a timeless universe, truly unique.
Crossing this landscape is a journey to the origins of the world itself as much as it is a voyage to the self, and mountain shelters become the lighthouses of a mineral ocean. In this photographic work, walking in the mountains becomes an aesthetic and spiritual practice. From one shelter to another, I walk to meet my own inner spaces, questioning my relationship with the world and that which is sacred, seeking the frontier between reality, imagination, and divine.
These intimate sanctuaries whisper to me about humanity, utopia and fragility, while around them I reinvent a fantasy landscape of the original world where deepening solitude slowly reveals the force of vibrating elements. Torches of resistance against a modern reality torn from its roots, these shining chapels burn with the memory of the sacred link between men and nature.
